Each page on this website meets the industry standard WAI guidelines, meeting W3C, requirements for accessibility for people with disabilities.

Alternative text and long descriptions are available for each image on this site, and each link has meaningful text to aid navigation. Any tables used in the construction of this website have a table summary, scope and where appropriate, a caption. Acronyms and abbreviations have been correctly labeled to ensure screen reader compatibility in line with the W3C guidelines and all pages have been validated in XHTML and CSS.

Text only version of the website

As an extra aid to visitors with dyslexia or visual impairments, a separate Text only version exists of every page on this site. In addition to clicking on the Text Only link this can be accessed by holding down the Alt key and the M key together, then pressing the Enter key.

Alt text, normally available on an image as a small yellow box with writing within it when the mouse pointed is moved over it, is available as a link to the "long description" of the image; offering a more detailed explanation of the image for the blind who are otherwise unable to see it.
