East Down Rural Community Network held its 14th Annual General Meeting on Monday, 8th February 2010 in Ballygowan Village Hall. The welcoming address to the event was given by the Mayor of Ards Borough Council, Councillor William Montgomery. Also Nick Moore, Chair of EDRCN and Nicholas McCrickard, Manager of EDRCN gave presentations on the outstanding achievements of EDRCN during 2009 and their aspirations for 2010. A new board was duely elected and include: Nick Moore, Alan Poots, Jim McAfee, Polly Hughes, Deborah Boden, Edith Ringland, Jane Smith, David Cole-Baker, Susan Welsh and Eamon Rodgers.
