New Family Support Panel

The purpose of the Family Support Panel is to provide assistance to parents and children in difficult family situations. It is intended that this assistance will help to improve the opportunities for children to achieve their potential.

The Panel consists of representatives from Statutory, Community and Voluntary organisations who are experienced in supporting families. The Family Support Panel meets once a month to receive referrals and provide the help and support that families may require. If you feel you could benefit from the support of the Panel you can make a referral to it through a professional who works with your family e.g. your GP, health visitor, teacher, social worker etc. You can also contact any community group or voluntary organisation you know and they can make a referral on your behalf.
